My name is Kira Cook. I started my baking journey when I was young, baking and helping in the kitchen with my Grandma Peterson and my mom, Penny Peterson. In HS, I decided to continue my career of Costume Design for Theatre at Kansas State University. My secondary goal was to get a culinary degree in Denver or Chicago. Fast forward a few years to 2005, and I'm now married and living in CO! In 2009, I finally had an answer to why I felt like shit all the time. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Yay me. From there, I had to relearn all of the baking skills that I used to know. In 2012, I start my culinary journey at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute. I graduate 5 years later with a Bachelors in Culinary Management. And immediately start a full time job in catering. In the lovely year of 2020, I was unsure if my full time job would still be around. So I decided to use my degree for evil, I mean good, and start my own gluten free baked goods business. And here we are today!
